LIVE FROM MY HOSPITAL BED..........

WELL THE PAST WEEK HAS BEEN FULL OF SURPRISES. WHAT STARTED OUT AS A   FLU AND SOME BACK PAIN (OR SO I THOUGHT) QUICKLY TOOK A TURN FOR THE WORST. AFTER LAYING AROUND GETTING SICKER AND SICKER, I ENDED UP IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM SATURADAY NIGHT. I HAD A BACTERIAL LUNG INFECTION/PNEUMONIA CALLED EMPYEMA. THEN MY LUNG COLLAPSED.
WAS A PRETTY BAD NIGHT, THEY TOLD ME IT WAS THE WORST CASE OF THIS THEY EVER SEEN, ANOTHER12/24 HRS. I WOULDN'T OF MADE IT THROUGH. WOW. HOW SCARY IS THAT.
NOW I AM STILL SITTING HERE IN ICU, FULL OF ANTIBIOTIC IV'S, TUBES DRAINING MY LUNGS. I THINK I WILL BE IN HERE A FEW MORE DAYS.
I'M NOT USED TO BEING THIS STILL AND CAN'T WAIT TO GET OUT OF HERE. BUT ONE THING THIS HAS TAUGHT ME IS TAKE CARE OF YOUR HEALTH, ONE LITTLE THING CAN TURN IT UPSIDE DOWN REAL FAST.

NOW I GOT THE TIME I WAS LOOKING FOR TO SURF THROUGH SOME OF YOUR BLOGS SOME MORE. SOME OF YOU LADIES COME UP WITH THE GREATEST THINGS! IT IS ALWAYS SO NICE TO HAVE SO MANY TALENTED PEOPLE SHARING EVERYTHING.
HOPE MY NEXT POST IS FROM HOME! WILL KEEP UPDATED.

  14. I know it's hard to be cooped up, but alas my dear friend.."Be still and know that I am God" Sometimes He has to put us flat on our backs to give us a sobering reminder of what we are doing, who we are, what we're to be about doing and the Real purpose of why we're on this earth to begin with...To Glorify Him..God has been merciful to you...May we give HIm all the honor and praise for that and that His tender mercies are new every day! May God's love and sunshine lift your spirit and soul and renew a hunger and thirst for Him. For He is Worthy! God speed and get well soon!! Love, Laura
