WELL I AM FINALLY HOME, AS OF LAST SATURADAY. AFTER 2 WEEKS IN THE HOSPITAL, THERE IS NO PLACE LIKE HOME. I STILL HAVE A TUBE IN MY LUNG AND SOME RECOVERING TO DO. I GOT TO HAVE A XRAY TOMORROW, AND A DOCTORS APPOINTMENT WEDNESDAY. I HOPE THEY WILL TAKE THIS TUBE OUT OF ME BY THEN. IT IS HARD TO DO ANYTHING WITH TUBES HANGING OFF YA! LOL.
BUT I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF SITTING! GOING TO WORK UP THE ENERGY TODAY TO DO SOME DESIGNING AND SEWING. TIME TO GET BACK TO PATTERN DESIGNS. GET SOME SUMMER PROJECTS GOING. I WANT TO ADD A HUGE COLLECTION OF FALL AND CHRISTMAS PATTERNS THIS YEAR.
I WAS ALL READY TO RE-DO MY DINING ROOM BEFORE I GOT SICK. HAD ALL MY PAINT AND WALL PAPER READY. WAS GOING TO RE-MUD THE CEILING, BY SPONGING ON AND REPAINTING TO COVER OLD CRACKS. I HOPE TO BE ABLE TO GET BACK TO THIS IN A FEW WEEKS. TAX TIME IS CREEPING UP IN A FEW WEEKS! UGH! ANOTHER THING I AM WAY BEHIND ON NOW. TURBO TAX WILL BE ON MY SHOPPING LIST FOR TOMORROW!
THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU WHO KEPT CHECKING IN ON ME THROUGH THIS, THERE ARE ALOT OF WONDERFUL CARING PEOPLE OUT THERE IN BLOG LAND. THAT I WILL NEVER FORGET.
SO, I HOPE THE NEXT TIME I DO A POST IT WILL BE BACK TO COMING PATTERNS, A NEW DRAWING I HOPE TO DO AND BLOGGING AS USUAL.
So glad you are home! Hope alkl goes well with the doctor and the tubes are soon out!

Glad to read your home Kathy. Don't over do it, take it from someone who's had tubes in my side last summer, just know your limits and get rest when you can. Looking forward to seeing some of your new patterns.

Jean

ReplyDeleteWell girl, you just be easy and take care of yourself!! Don't over-do it and end up down again. It is so very hard to be down when there are lots of things going on in your mind that you want to be doing but your body needs the rest to recover! Take care of yourself!
